Supervision/Tutorial style to simulate Oxbridge learning
A detailed walkthrough of how to get the best out of the resources available on our website
Our admissions test workshops have a basic structure to cover the main aspects of each admissions test. In the morning, there will be a skills and maths session, followed by a physics session in the afternoon. Our interview workshops have a morning covering skills and example questions, followed by two mock 1-on-1 interviews in the afternoon.
We run specific workshops:
- Physics Admissions Test (PAT) - for Physics, Engineering, Materials Science at Oxford. These workshops are combined with the ENGAA workshops due to the large overlap in syllabuses
- Interview Workshops - for Physics and Materials Science
These will run in August, September and October.
The workshops are in the style of an Oxford tutorial or Cambridge supervision, with just 3 students per tutor, giving each student adequate face-to-face time. The focus is to ensure the students are comfortable with all areas of the admissions test syllabus and A-level syllabus and that they understand how best to approach the styles of question they will face. We will also teach students how to systematically prepare for their test. Those who sign up to a workshop will receive access to a number of useful additional resources to help them prepare for the admissions process.
